Police arrested two suspects in attacking bus drivers after the trophy final

The Israeli police announced the arrest of the residents of Betar Illit who are suspected of violent assault against public transport drivers, at the end of the National Cup final last Thursday.

Following the severe attack event of bus drivers at the end of the National Cup Finals last Thursday in Jerusalem, after watching the Teddy Stadium by Betar fans, Moriah station began a Zion in the interrogation during which a targeted intelligence information was received by the SJ’s intelligence agencies: Bagar and Betar Betar.

Police said: “Thanks to this targeted information and in a quick and determined action by Etzion Station in the Judean District of the SJ District, the suspects were found and arrested. The two were transferred to continue an investigation into Moriah Station in Jerusalem and during the next hour they will be brought before the court to extend their detention.

“The Israeli police emphasize that you will take a hard hand against any discovery of violence, and in particular when it comes to attacking public transport drivers and events around sports events. The police will not move to the agenda in such cases, and will act resolutely to the law with all those involved.
